Reducing the Stigma
Thursday, March 23, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Mental illness is defined as changes in thinking, mood or behavior that cause distress or impaired function. Depression is the most common type of mental illness, affecting more than 26% of the U.S. adult population. Chances are most people know someone who has been affected, but the stigma associated with mental illness prevents us from talking about it. Tonight we will present information from our experts and an opportunity to learn about the different services and resources offered throughout Bergen County.
