Sports Medicine

Established in 2009, the Holy Name Sports Medicine program is dedicated to helping our patients and the community be active, get fit and stay healthy.

The program and the core medical practice are directed by J. Christopher Mendler, MD, a board certified sports medicine specialist. With over 15 years of sports medicine experience, Dr Mendler brought his private sports medicine practice to Holy Name in 2009 to help create a comprehensive, hospital based sports medicine program.

Today, the Holy Name Sports Medicine program is really more than a single medical practice. It is the result of a collaborative effort of specialists from varied disciplines working together to help our patients get "game ready" as quickly and as safely as possible. For patient convenience, we also offer on-site access to radiology services (Teaneck) and on-site physical rehabilitation services (Teaneck and Oradell).
