We are open.
We are clean.
We are ready.

Holy Name Medical Center is happy to announce that we have begun our return to normal operations. You may wonder, Is the hospital safe? Yes. We are ready. Ready to partner with you and your family on all your healthcare needs.

Holy Name is the first hospital in North Jersey to complete a rigorous, deep cleaning of our 450,000 square feet of clinical and non-clinical space. We started with manual disinfection, then applied electrostatic sanitizing mist, and finally, blasted UV-C light to kill more than 30 types of pathogens — including Covid-19.

Our Program

The Regional Dialysis Center's team of board-certified nephrologists, nurses, social workers, and dietitians encourage patients to keep active, maintain independence, and focus on a positive future.

The program is modeled after the Life Options Rehabilitation Advisory Council's "Five Es":

  • Encouragement - Patients partner with healthcare professionals to take control of their lives and maintain a sense of purpose
  • Education - Patients learn about their illness and its treatment, in an effort to better manage it
  • Exercise - Patients stay fit to gain more energy and improve their general health and outlook
  • Employment - Patients can take advantage of flexible dialysis scheduling to support employment, which affords self-esteem, a sense of identity and accomplishment, independence, a social outlet and a higher standard of living
  • Evaluation - Patients and staff participate in data collection and ongoing monitoring to improve patient care

State-of-the-art communication allows our paramedics to be in constant contact with Holy Name Medical Center's Emergency Department physicians to relay patient status reports and receive medication and treatment therapy orders.
