Dr. Jonathan Archer is a board-certified and fellowship-trained shoulder, hip, knee, and sports medicine surgeon. He strives to educate his patients so they can work together on becoming healthy and pain-free. The most rewarding part of his work, he says, is seeing people get back to the lives they want to lead.
Dr. Archer obtained his medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed a general surgery internship at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Medical Center followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Archer completed a fellowship in orthopedics and sports medicine at the prestigious Insall Scott Kelly Institute at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Archer has been consistently selected as a "Top Doctor" by BERGEN Magazine. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, arthritis and joint replacement, as well as general orthopedics. He is an expert in cartilage injuries, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) ruptures, and rotator cuff injuries.
Dr. Archer is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
