Tova C. Koenigsberg, MD, is a board–certified radiologist who specializes in women's imaging. She serves on a number of national committees in her field and is the panel chief of the Breast Imaging Section for the National Resident In–Service Examination for the American College of Radiology. She has also been an examiner for the oral board of examination for the American Board of Radiology and serves as a reviewer for the American College of Radiology's Breast MRI Accreditation Program.
Dr. Koenigsberg has been involved in a number of local and national research studies, is frequently published in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented at numerous radiological conferences. She was awarded the first annual Beekley Empower Award in recognition of her commitment to education and furthering the cause in earlier breast cancer detection.
Prior to joining Holy Name, Dr. Koenigsberg served as the Medical Director of outpatient imaging at the Medical Arts Pavillion and Montefiore Breast Imaging Center at Montefiore Medical Center, where she was also Section Chief of the Division of Breast Imaging. She obtained her bachelor's degree at Yeshiva University, Summa Cum Laude, majoring in pre–health sciences. |
