Dr. Shonda Corbett is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who has been providing comprehensive, caring gynecologic and obstetrical services for more than 20 years. She grew up in New Jersey and is proud to bring her expertise to her home state. She is committed to providing excellent patient care, forming long-lasting relationships with her patients, and educating women about their personal health.
Dr. Corbett earned her medical degree at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. After completing residency, she spent 13 years seeing patients, teaching, and mentoring resident physicians and medical students at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. In 2016, she relocated and has been enjoying providing care to women in Bergen County.
Dr. Corbett is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and she was recognized by Bergen Magazine as a Top Doctor in 2023. The most rewarding part of her work, she says, is having a significant role in a woman’s reproductive health and seeing the impact her care has had in their lives.
