When adults and seniors with emotional problems or mental illness need a higher level of care, The Holy Name Pavilion can provide intensive care and professional attention on an inpatient basis. Located on the Medical Center campus for more than 30 years, The Holy Name Pavilion is a 23-bed adult (ages 18 and older) voluntary inpatient unit that promotes a healthy balance of mind and body with an emphasis on getting patients back to their normal routine as soon as possible.
Led by Pritesh Shah, MD, Chief of Psychiatry, The Pavilion's team of skilled and compassionate mental health professionals provides stabilization and clinical services such as diagnostic assessments, medication management, individual and group therapies, psychoeducation, and skilled nursing care.
The Pavilion maintains a clean and well-appointed environment with a home-like atmosphere and a unique outdoor patio. In addition, with only 23 voluntary beds, The Pavilion has an exceptionally low patient-to-staff ratio, which allows for more personalized and comprehensive care.
Holy Name Medical Center and The Pavilion are accredited by The Joint Commission, licensed by the New Jersey Department of Public Health and approved by Medicare, Medicaid, most major medical insurance companies, HMOs and preferred providers.
