Holy Name Medical Center offers a new, contemporary, patient-centered infusion center for individuals needing all types of infusion therapy. Patients receive the most advanced treatments in a serene, welcoming environment that affords them privacy as well as comprehensive care.
Patients are given their infusion therapy in spacious, private areas equipped with lounger chairs and seats for loved ones. They also receive amenities such as warm blankets, snacks and personal tablets for entertainment and learning opportunities.
A fast-track area accommodates patients receiving injection therapies. Two dedicated entrances facilitate easy entry and exit.
Each patient's infusion team of specially certified oncologists, nurses and pharmacists works with the individual's personal physicians to provide seamless, accurate care. This results in efficient, personalized treatment for every patient.
A distinctive feature of the new Infusion Center is the pre-treatment education session for all patients starting chemotherapy, taught by an advanced practice nurse or an oncology clinical pharmacist. These specialists explain what to expect during and after treatment and answer patients' questions.
Patients can easily access the Infusion Center from the Patricia Lynch Cancer Center, with parking at the rear of the hospital, or from the hospital's front entrance for our medical infusion patients.
It is open weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM as well as on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for certain medical infusions and some oncology supportive care appointments.
