Pastoral Care services play a vital role at Holy Name by taking an interfaith approach to nurturing the well-being of patients, families, and staff during some of life's most challenging moments. Chaplaincy support complements clinical care, recognizing that healing involves the whole person-mind, body, and spirit.
Whether offering a quiet presence, a listening ear, or guidance that aligns with an individual's beliefs and values, Pastoral Care team members help ease anxiety, foster hope, and create a sense of comfort and connection. In addition to prayer, ritual and worship, they deliver spiritual and emotional care, ethical guidance, and support in times of crisis as individuals grapple with existential questions of life, purpose and meaning.
The Holy Name Chapel, located in the Medical Center just off the main lobby, is open 24/7 to people of all faiths for prayer and quiet reflection when Mass or services are not in progress.
