We are open.
We are clean.
We are ready.

Holy Name Medical Center is happy to announce that we have begun our return to normal operations. You may wonder, Is the hospital safe? Yes. We are ready. Ready to partner with you and your family on all your healthcare needs.

Holy Name is the first hospital in North Jersey to complete a rigorous, deep cleaning of our 450,000 square feet of clinical and non-clinical space. We started with manual disinfection, then applied electrostatic sanitizing mist, and finally, blasted UV-C light to kill more than 30 types of pathogens — including Covid-19.

Pastoral Services and Chapel

Through an interfaith approach, members of the Pastoral Care team strive to meet the needs of patients, their families and staff.

All religious services are held in our medical center's ecumenical Chapel, located just off the main lobby, and are televised on Channel 14. The Chapel is open 24 hours a day.

Catholic priests, chaplains, lay deacons and Eucharistic ministers visit regularly.

Bikur Cholim volunteers visit patients frequently.

Muslim guests may use the Chapel for daily prayers, except during Mass. Prayer rugs are available in the Pastoral Care office.

If you would like a visit from Pastoral Care, please call 201-833-3243.

Priests are available to attend to patients and families in emergencies. Please call the hospital operator.

Liturgy is celebrated in the medical center's chapel Monday through Friday at 11:30 AM, Saturday at 8:00 AM, Sunday Vigil (Saturday) at 3:45 PM and 5:00 PM, and on Sunday at 8:00 AM. Holy Communion is distributed daily. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Anointing of the Sick are celebrated upon request.
