Board of Directors Ballot

Each to serve a 3-year term of office for the period from January 2025 to December 2027.

The Alumni Association Board of Directors is always eager to expand the number of active sitting members. If you are considering serving your Alumni Association, please write your name in as a candidate along with your contact information.

We are looking for new members with ideas and enthusiasm for supporting our School of Nursing and its students.

A member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors is appointed to hold the position based on demonstrated involvement, support, and commitment to the SON. In accepting this three-year appointment, members agree to fulfill, to the best of their ability, the requirements and responsibilities associated with Board membership. Ideally, these include, but are not limited to:

  1. Meeting Participation. Attend and participate in Board meetings. They are held 4-5 times per year, lasting about 90 minutes on a weeknight evening.
  2. Committee Participation. Serve actively on at least one Alumni Board committee and participate in the majority of the committee meetings.
  3. Financial Participation. All Board members are expected to be current donors.
  4. Alumni Involvement. Assist in identifying, cultivating, and involving alumni in areas such as student recruitment, career networking, legislative advocacy, chapter leadership, identify prospective donors, financial support, etc.
  5. Program Activity Awareness. Be familiar with the programs and activities sponsored, organized, and coordinated by the Foundation on behalf of the SON.
