The benefit of High School students volunteering is that it allows students to give back to their local community. Provides the teen the exposure of gaining leadership skills and teamwork. Opportunity to meet new friends their age and improve confidence. Whether you are considering a career in medicine or not, Holy Name has a variety of volunteer roles to fit individual time schedules, abilities and interests.
The Junior Volunteer program includes students who are 16-18 years of age and in Grades 9-12. Please note that the program requirement is Six (6) months and 75 hours. We have limited opportunities available during summer session Monday through Friday for a 4-hour shift either 8 AM - 12 PM or 12 PM - 4 PM. During school sessions, Monday through Friday 2-hour shift; 4 PM - 6 PM or Weekends 4-hour shift either 8 AM - 12 PM or 12 PM - 4PM.
Please Note: A limited number of Junior Volunteer application requests will be available on the Volunteer Services page of the Holy Name website beginning at 7:00 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the program that begins at the end of December 2024. Application requests will be available to the first 20 applicants who are at least 16 years of age and fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
