About Me:

Christine Pfisterer, DO, is double board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. She takes a compassionate and collaborative approach to creating personalized care plans grounded in the latest research, and she is honored to help patients regain their independence as quickly as possible.

Dr. Pfisterer earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitative Medicine, an affiliate of Rutgers University. She then did a fellowship in sports and spine medicine at Coordinated Health, now part of Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Dr. Pfisterer has been involved in research and has been published in a number of medical journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She stays abreast of current practices and concepts as well as regenerative options.

Dr. Pfisterer follows in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Dennis Pfisterer Sr., who also practiced orthopedics at Holy Name.
