About Me:

Dr. Jason Kanos the Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Holy Name. A practicing OB/GYN for more than 20 years, he is committed to providing patient-centered care rooted in evidence and experience. He values the long-term relationships he builds with his patients and encourages shared decision-making for the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Kanos earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Prior to Holy Name, he was Vice Chair and a practicing physician in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at Mount Sinai West in New York City, where he also oversaw patient safety and quality as well as academic affairs. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
