Physical therapy helps to decrease pain and improve strength, endurance, balance, flexibility, and range of motion. The goal is to restore function and maximize recovery with a combination of individualized exercise programs, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities and comprehensive home exercises.
Holy Name board-certified specialists use progressive equipment to help patients recover from a variety of conditions including: orthopedic, back, and neck injuries; headaches/TMJ; joint replacement; spinal dysfunction; stroke, bone fractures; neurological disorders; brain injury; dizziness and vertigo; vestibular/balance disorders; amputations; and swallowing and speech disorders.
Patients can receive physical therapy at two locations – Holy Name's campus in Teaneck and HNH Fitness in Oradell. Both sites are spacious, state-of-the-art facilities that are open to the public, even if patients do not undergo procedures or surgeries at Holy Name.
Sessions are by appointment, with evening and Saturday time slots available. Most services require a physician's referral. Call for further information:
